We’re bringing together founders, VCs, pharma and leaders in the biotech innovation ecosystem for a day focused on the technologies and data shaping biotech’s next two decades. As part of the event, we’re hosting a Biotech Pitch Competition to showcase and support exceptional founders at the earliest stage of their journey.

The winner will receive $100K on an uncapped, MFN SAFE. All other finalists will receive awesome swag.

❓ Who should apply

• Early-stage biotech startups less than 3 years old that have raised < $1M in venture funding.
• Scientists in academia or industry with a biotech startup or idea. You must be committed to pursuing your company full time.
• Teams based in the US, Canada, or UK.
• While your team does not need to be Boston-based, you must be available and able to organize your own travel to Boston on October 2 if selected as a finalist.
• The winning startup must incorporate or be incorporated as a US Delaware C Corp in order to receive funding.

• Apply by September 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET. We will not accept any late applications.
• We are reviewing the applications on a rolling basis, and encourage early submissions.
• Semi-finalists will pitch online to the 2048 Ventures team the week of September 22.
